Uhavta Royal Emerald: had a good show
and was reserve champion ridden large
pony, Rosie also carried our niece "Alannah" around so delicately and safely
the turnout, child's pony, district ridden where they also gained
reserve champion ridden district Exhibit.
We were so proud of them both.
-
Fenwick Odie: He was just piloted from
class to class and our niece had a ball. Reserve
champion led and reserve champion
ridden Shetland. Alannah and Odie did open classes and pony club and still
wanted more by the end of the second day. Odie won a height class, Alannah
won her rider. In pony club they got a 1st,2nd, 3rd and 4th. A great effort
especially when we didnt think he was going to get there after cutting down
his side the night before, Thanks to the Lewis family with some magic powder
that sealed the cut and Odie didn't even flinch with the saddle on.
Thankyou to all our helpers
at Swan Hill show this year. It was great having one person per horse. Special
thanks to Kristy, Ness, Emily, Vicky, Teagan, Nerida, Alannah and Mum and Dad
for making sandwiches. It made it all a little stress free. The only thing that
got us stressed was one a home that got out and made Helen
an hour late on Friday catching her , after running wild overnight in the
nieghbours property.

missed in over ten years. Congratulations to Bobby Hammet and Hamlot

Congratulations to
Seven Bridges, his owners and trainer
Gary Clarke of Darwin. Seven Bridges has raced as a two year old and had his
first start as a three year old and had victory winning the opening event on
Darwin Cup day with Darren Gauci in the saddle. Seven bridges is out of our
thoroughbred mare Condensation. We
leased her for a season to our friend Peter Robinson of River Lodge stud.
Now Condensation (Gwen) has produced two winners from two foals to race. Her
third is a yearling. Gwen will be going back in foal this season.

Uhavta
Diamonds N Dream s (AI-UK): Thankyou
to all our friends who have sent us text's, emails, and phone calls. It
truly is appreciated. It is hard when you have no definite answers as to Why
? It has been easier to
know that there are people who really care. We are still trying to come to
terms with it as he was only a young stallion stallion with a full life
ahead of him, and we had a lot of plans for him in our breeding program. RIP
our poppied eye man, now we keep looking at your sister Uhavta Buttons N
Bows and two children that we have and realise how lucky we were to have you.
VALE
Uhavta Diamonds N Dreams (AI-UK)
27/11/2003 - 4/07/2010
It is with great sadness
that we advise that we have lost our beautiful stallion Uhavta Diamonds and
Dreams (AI-UK) at only 6 years of age. He was sired by Strinesdale Master Mind
(UK) and out of our lovely little mare Silkwood Mustard Seed (Carolinas Cats
Whickers / Kiddlewick Keepsake). Uhavta Diamonds N Dreams (AI-UK) alias name
Ryan was a full brother to our beautiful little mare Uhavta Buttons N Bows
(AI-UK). Buttons won extensively in the show ring and was retired early before
having a full saddle career. Buttons had her first foal last year, a stunning
little chestnut colt with poppy eyes like Buttons and Ryan. Other ˝ brother is
Uhavta Glitz N Glamour who has already had a successful led career and is about
to embark on a saddle career. Multiple Champion and winner at Royal and
interstate level. Lastly is a ˝ sister Uhavta Intune N Intime has just recently
been sold to Bobby Hammet and family and will also show her style in the coming
years in led and ridden. Other ˝ brothers and sisters were bred by Alison Lear-Yindarla
stud (South Australia)
Silkwood Mustard Seed
will definately be joined again this season to breed another champion for Uhavta
Stud.
Ryan was also retired
early to stud duties due to travel sickness which nearly took his life as a
three year old. Ryan had only sired three foals for us Uhavta Head Over Heels (Kirreway
Vision) , Uhavta Hortie Tortie (Mirinda Gold Flake) who have both won at state
level, Uhavta Royal Hotpants. Uhavta Royal Hotpants is owned by Pat Croft and is
about to embark on her show career. She is a 1/2 sister to Uhavta Royal Antique
(AI-Dec). He has also sired a palomino colt for Murraygold stud (Murraygold
Impression) and has another
full sibling due for them this year. He also had another colt Murraygold
Heritage who was bred by them and was sold to a thoroughbred stud.
We were planning to use
Ryan over some thoroughbreds in the next couple of years. We were privledged to
have owned a lovely little stallion who had the best temperament and was a
stunning mover. We look forward to seeing Uhavta Hortie Tortie and Uhavta Head
Over Heels being shown in the future and are sure that they will make their
Father proud and our stud.We thank Murraygold
stud for taking excellent care of Ryan and know that he was loved by all.

Blck Bikini:
has officially been sold to Brit Anderson from
Broken Hill (NSW). Brit has been showing Liv for us since we purchased her
off the track, her last race was in Broken Hill and Brit fell in love with
this magnificent black mare. We purchased her originally to join our
broodmare team. Brit has her back in the show team and we wish Brit
continued success with this lovely mare and look forward to hearing how she
is going in the show ring.

our staff for the summer royal -Sharyn Mangan who was chief baby sitter and
chef, and Kath McQueen who was chief strapper and she got us to the ring on time
and we didn't miss a class. Thanks to Em for being our chief master of taking
the video's.
Looks like we wont be
able to leave Wentworth at home now. He loves going to the shows. He woke at
0430 when we were loading the horses and crying looking through the window. "I
want to go to the show" "I've been a good boy" Unbeknown to him all his clothes
were pack. He was very excited and made lots of new friends, Gaye, Aaron,
Kristy, Janelle, Paige, Emma, Brett, Di, Matt, and of course James. James shared
his toys and his play room away from home. Thanks Shandelle and Rob.
Congratulations and
thank you to Tegan Lewis and her family for presenting and showing Uhavta Glitz

The question is ? Is the judge giving Odie a hug or
trying to get his arms around his big fat neck to put a ribbon on. We think its
a cuddle. We were proud of our little (or should I say big) man and Chelsea.
