Show Hack Council Vic-Extravaganza

        We were away judging at the Australian Capital horse show in Canberra. Alannah got the horses ready by herself. Thank you to the people who rang and told us how well she did and that the ponies worked super. She has the plaiting down pat now. Great job Alannah we are very proud of you.

SHC NSW Wade Equine Coaches HOTY 2018 was wet wild and wonderful! About 100mls of rain poured into Hawkesbury Showground! I was completely blown away 😳 when Elka won the 9-12 Champion Rider in an amazing line up of the best riders in NSW - all the kids rode absolutely beautiful and all of their horses looked devine - all the competitors try so very hard at these events and we all support each other really well encouraging our kids & greeting one another at these events and catching up. The kids all friendly and hung out all weekend with their mates had fun laughs and ate plenty of lollies! It was Elke’s turn to win at such a prestigious event and she is extremely humbled by the lovely and generous prizes including the trophy given to her ‘Marilyn Allaries Memorial sponsored by the Sydney Regional Hack Association and gorgeous arm garland made by Emma. The volunteers the committee you all try so very hard and all of the competitors really appreciate you running these shows. The stewards the helpers, judges and SHC Australasia we thank you as well as LF for her help. Elka and Zali appreciate the opportunity to compete at such a high level and it’s just been amazing winning on our own horses that the girls ride and train by themselves. We do get help from time to time and would also like to thank Matt Les Scott Richard and so many others including Jaggy (Uhavta Jackpot) for giving Elk an absolutely stunning ride. Camping was awesome with Power near the stables and we all lived in complete mud for 3 days and were wet cold and tired but that’s showing and it’s worth the effort to have a win once in a while - Elk will never forget this one ❤️ another show at Taree tomorrow girls sleeping already after an amazing experience. Elmore Equestrian Interschools competition

• Alannah entered Uhavta Kensington and Uhavta Inutne N Intime and came home with a huge smile. The team was Grace Humphreys and Abbey Arbuckle. Support crew Lily Humphreys, Kim Humphreys , Robyn Burns and the Arbuckle clan.

• It was blowing a gale all weekend

• Alannah was so pleased with her team

  • Uhavta Intune N Intime 3rd overall in the Show hunter secondary section (placed in all the Led , ridden and rider)

  • Uhavta Kensington was 5th in the ridden show horse secondary section

• Then she had a go at dressage.

I remember camping with Bobby at Barastoc and Bobby was saying she couldn’t find a Galloway.
I said we had one that had been shown at Melbourne Royals and Adelaide Royal and was still maturing in paddock.
The rest is history, you took one look and fell in love.
Uhavta Miss Deception (Phoebe) has been a wonderful mare for you and your daughters.
I remember multiple people wanting to buy her. (big breeders and you said never for sale).
The first supreme rug you won at Mildura show and you cried with happiness and slept with the rug.
Then you rode her at Barastoc for runner Up. You were so nervous, but at the end you were elated.
Then to watch all your daughters ride her at different times of their riding careers.
As breeders we are glad of the life that you gave Phoebe, the showing career and then her wealth as a broodmare.
She had stunning foals with your prefix and we look forward to following the dynasty that she has created for you and the Hamlot Stud Name
